Angel of the Lord

9 "An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."
Luke 2:9

Merry Christmas!

Happy Hollidays! That's us.. The Holliday Family!

Christmas pillow, my aunt made for me a few years back. God's Promise-- the meaning of my name :)

O Christmas Tree! Used an old quilt  as a tree skirt this year and every year,.

Happpy Fall Y'all!

Painted rather than carving pumpkins this year... lasted all season!
Now here comes Christmas!

adorn your neck!

Lots of motherly love

The necklace to the left is a mother's necklace with Jesus' love represented with the turquoise cross. The Mother's loved one's are represented by the pearl for the child, emerald for the mother and sapphire for the dad.

Middle necklace is just fun to wear. simple in the front and a surprise of color at the clasp.

The necklace to the right is another mother's necklace with Jesus love represented with the turquoise cross. Child was born in June and represented by a pearl, the peridot colored stone is light green,  for August and is the anniversary of the couple.

lets measure...

The whole family for our growth chart! My very talented sister has made this totally "Pottery Barn"growth chart. What a beautiful way to keep up with your family growth and be able to display it in a beautiful way. It is so practical and adds more love into your decorations around the house. These type of items are what turn your house into a home!

My sister is up for commission if anyone would like to add one to their home or give one as a gift!

lamp love

The lamp shade didn't turn out like I had hope however its still cute enough. This was the first time I had ever done this, I couldn't really ruin anything so it made the attempt easier!

There's my little lamp and new and improved shade!

everyone you need on one necklace

I made this one for a friend, her and her husband were married in October (opal) and they have two little girls; one born in October (opal) and the other in June (pearl).

The large tear drop opal is to represent her anniversary. The smaller rectangular shaped opal is for her first daughter, it is also tented pink, which I love to represent her little girl. The last bead is a pearl for her youngest daughter.
Lastly the cross is just great, so I added it on with a pearl up top to go along with the rest.

Once again not the best pictures. I wish I had captured the clasp, I added a pearl to each side of the clasp.

a broken camera does'nt stop me from creating...

A broken camera just stops me from blogging!

What do you know, my camera gets dropped at the Brittany Spears concert. I would like to say Brittany was worth it... Niki Majai defiantly was.

Us girls at the concert!

These are a few phone pictures of what I have been creating lately.

One of my favorites to paint. Wish I had a better  picture  so the itty bitty lady bugs were seen.
forgot to get a picture before I handed it off...An unfinished.. almost there fabric T! Go Vols!

A necklace I made for my sister's mother in law. Each stone represents a child or grandchild and daughter in law. Loved making this! The colors surprisingly went together so well.

Child 1 is represented by a Blue stone for Sapphire Birthstone
Daughter in Law and Grandchild: Emerald and Pearl are for May and June
Child 2: Light green is for Peridot
Daughter in Law and Grandchildren: Garnet, Pearl and 2 garnets are for January and June birthdays

Child 3: Red stone is for Ruby

all of the turquoise hanging out together!

dainty little necklace

I was on a mission to find a chain I had bought in Knoxville several years ago at Lily's Beadbox. It was no where to be found in Nashville, after several attempts I finally found it at this online shop called Beadaholique. Quickly I ordered "The" chain I was so desperately in search of and it appeared on my doorstep soon after!
gold-filled long short. i love the dainty-ness of this chain!

I am a big fan of turquoise. I love the way it blends with other colors and the brightness it carries. So I wired up some beads... five of them actually. 3 of the 5 turquoise .

my favorite bead combo

chain on chain
Oh!  This one is layered in gold, I like it quite well. The gold circles, are actually large chain as well, I layered them up and strung them on the chain. Can't wait to sport it out and about!

born to bleed orange

Cord man was born to love the Volunteers! I thought this would be a fun surprise for his room. The T is out of orange fabric and the rest is painted with plain ole paint!
