Where I create

I just love my little spot! antique desk my mother repainted... beautiful!

everyday it changes just a little bit

every little thing has meaning... maybe not the candles
The framed picture of the girl, is a print from skirt magazine. I love this painting. The artist is Nancy Poes, she says, "This painting is about spiritual freedom with the backpack lying open on the ground; she is unencumbered by restraints, playing her own music."

Keri Sellers '07 Also a cut out from Skirt.
"Everyday holds the possibility of a miracle" -Elizabeth David

I like to paint on the floor, say prayers for my carpet...

It's no secret...

Ever since I was little I have had a crayon in my hand until I discovered the world of art outside of crayola. First I began painting, then I adopted crafting in anyway possible. I try to put as much creativity into my life as possible. I wanted to keep up with my adventures in creating and crafting as well as the people and places that motive me and at the same time share it with those I love...so I have created a blog!
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.
Psalms 13-18
